ISEE Test Site Payments

The instructions outlined on this page apply to all ISEE tests administered on or after October 1, 2020.

Thank you for your help in facilitating the ISEE administration! ERB will continue to provide an honorarium for test sites administering the ISEE. However, the procedures through which those honoraria will be distributed is changing this fall. These changes are designed to support small group testing in response to COVID-19 concerns, simplify the honoraria distribution process to testing staff and provide electronic payments to expedite payment time and reduce the need to be onsite at a school to receive a check.

The information below will explain the steps you need to take to process your honoraria payment(s). Please make sure to follow the appropriate instructions based on the type of test your school administered. If you administered both test types you will need to follow the instructions for both paper and online administration.

 paper Administration Payment Instructions

  1. Submit your Honoraria Payment Form for Paper Test Administrations.
  2. Create the appropriate Bill.com account(s).

Step 1
Submit your Payment Form

Honoraria payments are calculated on a per student tested basis using the Test Site Honoraria Payment Form for Paper Test Administrations. The payment amount will vary based on the testing day (weekday or weekend) and circumstances (standard administration or administration with accommodations). Use the Honoraria Payment Form to calculate your test site's total honoraria payment. You will also use this form to indicate if ERB should issue the total honoraria payment to the test site (your school or testing company) or to your testing staff members directly.

The Honoraria Payment Form must be requested. Please use the button or follow the instructions on the right to request the form .

Step 2
Create the Appropriate Bill.com Accounts

All payments are delivered via direct deposit through Bill.com, a leader in providing secure and reliable billing and payment solutions to companies both large and small. ERB no longer distributes paper checks. You can create Bill.com accounts at any time—you do not need to wait until after testing is complete.

If your test site (school or testing company) is receiving the total honoraria payment, your test site must create a Bill.com account. If your test site's staff are receiving individual honoraria payments directly, they must create individual Bill.com accounts with their own banking information. Instruct your staff to visit www.erblearn.org/payments/iseestaff for information about creating their Bill.com accounts. These instructions are also available for download on this page.

Please Note: If you administered both paper tests and online tests you may use the same Bill.com account for both payments. You do not need to create separate accounts. If you created a Bill.com account for previously administered ISEE honoraria payments, you may use your existing account to receive additional payments.

Please follow the instructions outlined in this guide to setup a Bill.com account.

The Test Administrator or someone else at your test site completes and submits the ISEE Online Payment Voucher included in the Test Administrator's Manual. They will use this voucher to indicate if ERB should issue the honoraria payment to the test site (school or testing company) or to the Test Administrator directly. Completed vouchers should be emailed to ISEEPayment@erblearn.org or faxed to (212) 370-4095.

Step 2
Create a Bill.com Account

All honoraria payments are automatically deposited into payees' bank accounts via Bill.com, a leader in providing secure and reliable billing and payment solutions to companies both large and small. If you haven't already done so, all payees (including test sites and/or staff) will need to create accounts with Bill.com in order to receive payments. You can create your account(s) at any time—you do not need to wait until after testing is complete.

If your test site (school or testing company) is receiving the honoraria payment, your test site must create a Bill.com account. If individuals are receiving honoraria payments directly, they must create individual Bill.com accounts with their own banking information. These instructions are also available for download at right .

Step 3
Collect Your Payment

Once we receive your completed payment voucher, ERB can deposit the payment directly into your bank account via Bill.com. This typically takes about 2 to 3 weeks from the date we receive your payment voucher to process. Delivery will also vary based on how quickly your banking institution processes the payment once we've issued it.
